Training for Volunteers
Leave No Trace Train the Trainer

Check out our Badge pages to learn more about Leave No Trace.

This session is an overnight experience in the beautiful setting at Whispering Pines Program Center. Participants will cover Leave No Trace principles and tools for sharing these low impact skills with front/backcountry users. Leave No Trace is a program created to educate others about our natural environment and protect it. Trainers and Leaders now have the opportunity to become highly skilled in Leave No Trace. Learn Leave No Trace travel skills and practices, wild land ethics, teaching techniques, and gain a better understanding of the impact we have on our sensitive world.

Each participant will prepare a 20-30 minute experiential teaching session related to one of the Leave No Trace principles. When you receive your confirmation, you will receive a listing of possible presentation topics.
