First Aid and CPR
Training Home
This training teaches
participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac
emergencies for adults and children. The CPR course includes lecture,
hands-on practice, and procedures for an emergency with both a child and
an adult. First Aid training includes basic information on bleeding,
shock, allergies, poisoning, environmental factors, and various other
topics.
Certification cards are issued for First Aid and Child & Adult CPR. They
first aid is are valid for a three-year period and CPR is valid for a
one year period.
Please bring a sack lunch or snack and drink to enjoy during the break.
Who: Any adult volunteer working with girls K-12th grades. (Cadette
and Senior Girl Scouts grade 9-12th are welcome to register for this
training)
