New leaders are required to complete Basic Leader Orientation training.

This training is accomplished by:

  • Reading the Basic Leader Orientation Booklet
  • Answering a series of questions regarding the Booklet on the Question/Answer Packet
  • Returning the finished packet to council offices (address is on packet)

Prerequisite: None – this training can be taken as the volunteer application and references are being processed and approved.
Required For: All registered adult Girl Scout volunteers working with girls.
Recommended For: Parents, Program Aides, LITs, CITs, SGSTAs, Trainers
Required Before: Service Units release names of girls.
Fee: None
