Sahuaro Girl Scout Council Resource Kits

Currently all program kits are being updated and will not be available for check out until Oct 22, 2007.

Daisy Patch Programs:

Completing most Daisy programs can help a girl to earn a train car from the train patch program. This year Daisy troops may check out Daisy programs in a kit, and turn in the evaluations to report how many girls completed the program. Patches will be mailed when kits are returned with evaluation. Any questions contact us at 1-520-319-3181 or progspec@sahuarogsc.org.

Daisy Service Train Program (Done with your troop, Service Unit, or in your community.) Service is an integral part of Girl Scouts and may be included in Daisy Girl Scout activities. Service projects should be chosen with the abilities of ages 5-6 or grades K-1, in mind and the basic concept of doing a good deed. Service should include showing kindness, sharing, and being fair. Service train does not require hours of service, instead, five short- term projects will complete this patch.  For example, collecting can goods, make a simple tray favor, etc. Send in evaluation of service completed and how the girls enjoyed the project.  Service train patches are $1.00 each.  Patches will be mailed as soon as the evaluation is received.

Send in evaluation of what your troop did and enjoyed at the zoo.  Zoo patches are $1.00 each. Patches will be mailed as soon as the evaluation is received.
