Open to registered Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scouts alike, Compass Series events are designed for young women seeking to develop themselves as dynamic leaders and agents of change.

Dove Uniquely Me Camp, June 23-28, 2008
This unforgettable six-day day camp at the Hacienda Program Center will unravel conventional beauty myths and honor your unique story. You’ll be empowered through theatrical self-expression workshops, guided journal exercises, and field trips around the city. Expand your horizons at a rope challenge course, yoga and dance studios, a labyrinth and more. The grand finale includes an overnight on the 27th and a “Real Beauty” exhibit that you design!

LIFE: A Crash Course, August 6, 2008

Truly You: An Overnight Journey in Self-Discovery, Date TBA
How do you express yourself? Do others see the true you? Come explore your potential and share your unique creativity through writing activities, improvisational theater exercises and art. This overnight experience culminates in a powerful and empowering Rite of Passage ceremony that celebrates the true you.

Take Charge Against Violence Retreat, October 24-25, 2008

Learn how to protect yourself and others from violence at this overnight excursion on Mount Lemmon. Get savvy on recognizing the signs of aggression and how to respond appropriately. Take the stand in a mock trial on domestic violence and work with local women in the profession to hone your legal skills.
