Camp Fury: Girls' Fire Camp
June 2-5
Girls grades 9-12
Cost: $150
Join the ranks of Tucson's elite women firefighters from Northwest Fire District and Tucson Fire Department for an exclusive 4-day, 3-night training experience. Learn the importance of teamwork through hands-on essential firefighting techniques, search and rescue skills, and water rescue on site at the Public Safety Training Facility. You'll be outfitted in full firefighting gear for the duration of camp. In the evening, relax at the Hacienda as we enjoy yoga, pool-time, stargazing and s'mores over an open campfire. End the week at a recognition ceremony acknowledging your achievements!
Babysitting Boot Camp
June 14-June 18, Day Camp
with an overnight on Thursday, June 17
Girls Grades 6-12
Cost: $195
Join us for a week-long camp at the Hacienda Program Center this summer! Learn to handle temper tantrums, get CPR/First Aid certified, meet with a business executive to market your new babysitting skills and a designer to create a logo for your business! You'll be the best babysitter on the block by week's end!
Camp Surf
Sunday, June 27 (bus leaves Council at 7am) to Thursday, July 1 (returns around 9pm)

Soak up the sun this summer in San Diego at Camp Surf! Learn to surf, swim in the ocean, camp out on the beach & enjoy bonfires at night! Girls must bring their own wetsuits.
Girl's POV (Point-of-View) Film Camp
July 12-16
Cost: $250
Girls grades 7-10
Girls grades 11 & 12 can apply to co-facilitate the camp as an intern
This Girl's POV Camp is an intensive 5-day workshop where girls will learn documentary film making from the narrative to production! Girls will work with award winning filmmaker, Jamie A. Lee, to create a short film about their lives while examining their hopes, dreams and world views. Girls will develop media literacy, master state-of-the-art digital filmmaking and create long-lasting friendships with girls from across the community. Each participant will experience roles as writer, director, subject, production assistant, director of photography and editor. The camp will culminate with a film screening for friends and family to enjoy!
American Indian Scouting Association (AISA) Seminar
July 17-21
Ages 11-17
Cost: TBA, Scholarships available through AISA
The AISA Seminar is an annual seminar hosted by a local tribe or American Indian community. This year's seminar will be hosted by the Pascua Yaqui tribe of Southern Arizona and housed at the University of Arizona. This seminar attracts both Indian and non-Indian representatives from Boy Scout and Girl Scout councils across the country. Highlights of the seminar include a parade of traditional clothing, a Pow Wow gathering with music and dancing, a visit to the host tribe, events and workshops for adults and youth. Whispering Pines Resident Camps for Teens

Come discover the leader in you! C.I.T. provides an opportunity to connect with yourself and others while learning teamwork and leadership skills. This intensive 2-week session prepares you for the rigors and rewards of being a camp counselor. Make a difference in a young girl's life while focusing on a program skill such as drama, hiking, crafts or outdoor skills. Get ready to take action by helping to organize and prepare an all-camp ceremony or theme night.

Enter into a challenging training that will help you discover valuable skills for working with younger girls in a camp, special program or troop setting. Find out how you can connect to camp as you receive leadership training and specialize in a program area such as arts and crafts, dancing, drama or outdoor skills. You'll have time for team building, personal growth, and traditional camp fun like hiking, singing and archery. Gain teamwork skills as you take action to help with traditional camp ceremonies and events.
