The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum provides great opportunities for Girl Scouts to explore the wonders of our very own Sonoran Desert every day of the year. Discounted group rates for self-guided visits, exciting live animal programs, and on-grounds activity guides that Girl Scouts can complete to build skills and knowledge in many patch/badge topics. Reid Park Zoo
1100 S. Randolph Way, Tucson
The Zoo is open from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm almost everyday. The Zoo is closed December 25th, and closes at noon on Thanksgiving Day. If troops would like to come and explore the Zoo on their own, they would pay the regular admission rates.
Regular admission rates:
$6.00 adults ages 15-61
$4.00 seniors ages 62 and over
$2.00 children ages 2-14
FREE for children under 2 years
A 10% discount is offered to groups of 15 or more. One person must make a single payment to receive the discount.
No pre-registration is necessary to come and explore on your own. For educational programming call 837-8200. Fees for each program vary. Admission rates are included in these prices.
