Help us make 1,000 origami cranes throughout the year!

Continue the dream of Sadako Sasaki, a 12 year old girl from Hiroshima, Japan who, after being exposed to radiation from WWII's atom bomb, was diagnosed with Leukemia. Sadako attempted to make 1,000 origami cranes in hopes that she would be granted one wish - the chance to live. Sadly, she only managed to make 644 paper cranes. Sadako's strong will to live inspired others to think about, and create peace. This is your chance to learn how to make paper cranes and to inspire and teach others the remarkable story of a young girl (just like you!) who had the power to influence others around the world.
