Sahuaro Girl Scout Council invites your workplace to participate in a unique Done-In-A-Day team building volunteer project at one of our Girl Scout facilities!

Let your Team join our Team!

What: A one time, one day work project for 3-150 people
Where: Our multi-purpose 16-acre Hacienda Program Center on Sabino Canyon Road in Tucson or our spacious Whispering Pines Program Center on Mount Lemmon.
When: Schedule a convenient day with the project coordinator.
Why: To reap the benefits of group philanthropy while strengthening the Southern Arizona Girl Scout program that serves over 13,000 girls annually.

One day projects can include

• Trail maintenance and erosion control
• Landscaping assistance
• Painting indoor and outdoor facilities
• Sorting and updating program kits
• Planting trees and native desert vegetation

How to Join Us

• Contact our project coordinator and discuss the goals you would like to accomplish.
• Select a date and a Done-In-A-Day project that suits your team.
• Show up ready to work!

We will provide a tour of our facility, any necessary supplies, project instruction and supervision, a light lunch, a time of reflection on your work and recognition of your team's valuable contribution.

Our Facilities

We host many activities for Girl Scouts and the community at our beautiful Hacienda and Whispering Pines properties. Girl Scouts and community members enjoy these facilities for conferences, corporate retreats, company picnics and festive get-togethers.

The Hacienda Program Center

• 16 acres of desert oasis with trails, ramadas and an amphitheatre
• Meeting spaces for up to 100 people
• Bunkhouses for overnight guests
• Solar-heated junior-sized Olympic pool

Whispering Pines Program Center

• Sleeps up to 180 overnight guests
• Commercial kitchen
• Volleyball courts and archery range
• Access to hiking trails and fishing

We need Volunteer Teams to maintain and improve our facilities to keep them safe and beautiful.
